Davidoff Launches Primeros Voyager’s Selection for Global Travel Retail

Davidoff is expanding its travel-focused portfolio with the Primeros by Davidoff Voyager’s Selection, a new six-cigar assortment created exclusively for Global Travel Retail.

Scheduled to begin arriving September 3, 2026, the collection combines three established Primeros blends in one compact package: Primeros by Davidoff Dominican, Dominican Maduro, and Nicaragua. Each tin contains two cigars from each blend, giving traveling smokers three different expressions in the same short-format package. Availability and launch timing may vary by country.

The idea behind the release is straightforward: premium cigar experiences do not always need to occupy an hour or more.

Davidoff developed the new Voyager’s Selection around the reality that travelers may only have a limited window to enjoy a cigar between flights, meetings, meals, or other parts of a trip. Each cigar is presented in a 34-ring-gauge x 4 1/8-inch petit panetela format, with Davidoff estimating an enjoyment time of approximately 15 to 25 minutes.

Three Primeros Blends in One Tin

The assortment gives smokers two cigars from each of three Primeros lines, covering a spectrum from mild to medium intensity.

Primeros by Davidoff Dominican delivers the mildest expression in the collection, with Davidoff describing notes of oak wood, liquorice, and gentle spice.

The Dominican Maduro moves the profile in a richer direction, offering flavors of dark chocolate, honey, and roasted nuts.

The Nicaragua selection provides the most pronounced profile of the three, with Davidoff identifying aromas of spice, roasted coffee, and leather.

Together, the six cigars create a compact tasting selection rather than simply a travel-sized package of a single blend.

Designed for Travel

Packaging is central to the Voyager’s Selection concept.

The cigars are housed in a lightweight metal tin designed to protect them in transit while remaining compact enough for luggage or a handbag. Davidoff has also added a hologram sticker identifying the assortment as a Travel Retail exclusive, while the exterior packaging provides information about the cigars and specifications contained inside.

The result is a presentation that works equally well as a personal travel companion or as a gift purchased while traveling.
