Tatuaje Brings Jason Back for Monster Series Redux 6

Tatuaje is heading back to Crystal Lake territory just in time for Halloween.

The company has announced Tatuaje Monster Jason Redux 6, the sixth release in its Redux Monsters series. The cigar measures 7 1/2 x 52 and uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.

Like the previous Redux releases, Jason Redux 6 is packaged in a coffin-style cabinet box containing 13 cigars. MSRP remains $13 per cigar.

The cigars were produced at My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua, with a total production of 5,000 boxes, or 65,000 cigars.

Of those 5,000 boxes, 4,300 will feature the standard presentation, while another 700 boxes are specially marked. Tatuaje says 666 of those boxes are sequentially numbered, with the remaining examples marked “XX,” a designation traditionally reserved for special occasions.

The Redux Monster Series

The Redux concept gives Tatuaje an opportunity to revisit cigars from its long-running Monster Series, bringing recognizable characters and presentations back for collectors who may have missed the original releases.

Jason Redux 6 continues that formula with one of the Monster lineup’s most recognizable horror-inspired themes. The coffin-style box returns with its distinctive hockey-mask artwork, while the cigar itself maintains the oversized 7 1/2-inch format.

The numbered-box component will likely be of particular interest to Monster Series collectors. With 666 boxes carrying sequential numbers, Tatuaje has worked another horror-themed detail directly into the production run.

Why It Matters

The Monster Series has always occupied an unusual place in the premium cigar world, combining limited-production cigars with packaging and themes drawn from classic horror culture.

Jason Redux 6 leans directly into that identity.

Between the Broadleaf-wrapped blend, coffin presentation, 13-count boxes and the run of 666 sequentially numbered packages, this is one of those releases where the presentation is nearly as central to the story as the cigar itself.

And with Halloween approaching, the timing could hardly be more appropriate.

Are you opening the coffin—or keeping this one sealed for the collection?
