Atabey Black Delirios Travel Humidor Begins Shipping Worldwide

The wait is officially over for collectors and Atabey fans.

United Cigars has announced that the Atabey Black Delirios Limited-Edition Travel Humidor is now shipping to authorized retailers, bringing one of Selected Tobacco’s most exclusive releases to market. Limited to just 1,500 humidors worldwide, the release combines ultra-aged cigars with the kind of presentation that has become synonymous with the Atabey name.

For those who follow Selected Tobacco closely, the Black Delirios has been one of the more anticipated releases since its debut in 2025. Now, smokers and collectors alike are finally getting a chance to see the finished product arrive on retail shelves.

A Collector-Focused Release

At first glance, the travel humidor immediately stands apart from traditional cigar packaging. The leather-finished exterior is accented with gold trim and designed to function as both a display piece and a practical travel humidor.

Inside are 10 Atabey Black Delirios cigars, each measuring 5 3/4 x 55 and wrapped in a dark Ecuadorian Habano leaf. While the presentation certainly grabs attention, the real story remains the aging process behind the cigars themselves.

The Aging Philosophy Behind Atabey Black

Selected Tobacco has built its reputation around extended aging, and the Black Delirios represents one of the most refined examples of that approach.

Each cigar undergoes a minimum of five years of post-roll aging before release. During that process, humidity levels are intentionally raised and lowered over time, allowing the tobacco to mature gradually while developing balance and complexity.

The company also utilizes multiple aging woods throughout the process, including a combination of more than five different cedars. For the Black line specifically, French Oak is incorporated into the aging environment, adding another layer of character to the finished cigar.

It’s an approach that requires patience, but one that has become a defining part of the Atabey and Selected Tobacco identity.

Presentation Meets Exclusivity

With only 1,500 humidors produced worldwide, scarcity is a major part of the story.

This isn’t positioned as an everyday box purchase. Instead, it’s aimed squarely at collectors, dedicated Atabey smokers, and enthusiasts who appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into both the cigar and its presentation.

According to Selected Tobacco founder Nelson Alfonso:

“Every step, from the tobacco selection to the aging process, to the presentation of the travel humidor was designed to create a truly extraordinary experience for cigar lovers around the world.”

The Atabey Black Delirios Travel Humidor carries a suggested retail price of $600 and is currently shipping to authorized retailers.

Why It Matters

The premium cigar market continues to see growth in highly limited, presentation-driven releases, but very few brands have built an identity around aging and refinement quite like Selected Tobacco.

The Black Delirios Travel Humidor isn’t just another limited edition. It represents years of aging, meticulous environmental control, and a level of presentation designed to appeal to collectors as much as smokers.

For Atabey enthusiasts, this release offers one of the purest expressions of the brand’s philosophy to date. For retailers, it provides a showcase piece that will likely attract attention the moment it lands in the humidor.

Either way, with only 1,500 units available worldwide, this is likely to be one of the harder luxury releases to track down in 2026.
