Steve Saka Accidentally Discovers DTT Is Basically Everywhere
There are cigar companies that talk about being global… and then there’s Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, quietly popping up in nearly 30 countries while Steve Saka is over here worrying about leaf, fermentation, and whether the cigars are actually good enough.
Classic Saka.

In a recent post, Steve shared that someone asked him for a list of DTT’s international distributors. A totally reasonable request — except for one tiny detail: he didn’t have the list. Not because it didn’t exist, but because sales spreadsheets and account management have never really been his thing.
His philosophy has always been simple (and very on-brand):
Make great cigars. Tell smokers the truth about them. Let everything else sort itself out.
So when Ana finally pulled together the distributor list, Steve had a bit of a moment. And by “a bit,” we mean jaw-on-the-floor stunned.
Wait… We’re Where Now?!
Turns out this “little family company” has cigars being distributed in 29 countries — and that’s just the ones they can clearly track.
Here’s the list that stopped Steve in his tracks:
- Albania
- Australia (two distributors)
- Bahrain
- Belgium
- Brazil
- Canada
- Croatia
- Curaçao
- Czech Republic
- Egypt
- Germany
- Greece
- Hong Kong
- Hungary
- Israel
- Italy
- Kuwait
- Malaysia
- Mexico
- Netherlands
- Norway
- Poland
- South Africa
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- United Arab Emirates
- United Kingdom
- Venezuela
That’s 29 countries… and Steve openly admitted that if you’d asked him off the cuff, he would’ve guessed maybe a dozen.
Same, honestly.
And That’s Not Even the Full List
As if that wasn’t enough, it turns out DTT cigars are landing in even more markets through secondary distribution. Japan. Singapore. Other parts of the Far East. Additional EU and Eastern European countries.
So yeah — even now, the exact number is still a bit fuzzy.
Cue Steve’s perfectly on-brand reaction:
Why am I not rich yet???
<sad puppy face>
We feel that, Steve. Deeply.
The Most Steve Saka Post Ever
Of course, no Saka post would be complete without a little extra spice. He made sure to preemptively call out anyone getting overly pedantic about the globe image used in the post — flags not perfectly placed, geography not exact, AI-generated visuals not suitable for Rand McNally standards.
Relax, people. It was a Facebook post, not a cartography exam.
And honestly? That little rant just made the whole thing even more endearing.
The Big Takeaway
This post wasn’t a flex — even though it absolutely reads like one. It was more of a genuine moment of surprise from a guy who’s spent decades obsessing over tobacco quality, fermentation, blending, and honesty… and then suddenly realized his work is being smoked all over the world.
No hype. No sales pitch. Just great cigars doing what great cigars do.
Sometimes the quiet way really does work.
