Viso Horny Unveils “The 555” at PCA 2025 – A Bold New Chapter in Boutique Cigars

Viso Horny is back with a striking new release: The 555, set to debut at the 2025 PCA Show in New Orleans. This latest creation marks a significant evolution for the brand, not only in its flavor profile but in its expanded accessibility to cigar lovers across the country.

Unlike the original Viso Horny release, which was available exclusively through direct-to-consumer channels, The 555 will be offered through a nationwide network of retailers. Brand founder Tyler Jeffery emphasized the importance of reaching a broader audience, stating his goal was to create a cigar that as many enthusiasts as possible could enjoy.

Once again, the cigar is being produced at the highly respected Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend is the result of a close collaboration between Jeffery and Alex Nowogrodzka, combining deep tobacco knowledge with a passion for innovation.

What sets The 555 apart is its unique blend—composed entirely of viso primings, with a U.S. Broadleaf wrapper, a Cameroon binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras. This choice delivers a cigar that balances rich complexity with exceptional burn and draw. Offered in a box-pressed 5 x 55 Gran Robusto format, the cigar is packaged in sleek 10-count bundles featuring a silver foot band and carries an MSRP of $15 per stick. Only 5,000 cigars are being produced for this limited release.

Jeffery played a hands-on role in crafting the cigar, personally sourcing key filler tobacco that defines the blend’s profile. “This one’s personal,” he noted, reflecting on the rewarding challenge of building a cigar entirely from viso primings.
