Black Label Trading Co. to Debut Macabre Limited Edition at PCA 2026

Black Label Trading Co. is heading into the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show with something new — and limited. The boutique Nicaraguan brand is introducing Macabre, a small-batch release that will make its official debut at PCA in New Orleans this April. True to the brand’s reputation for bold, visually distinct cigars with an edge, Macabre arrives as a first-come, first-served offering with capped production across all three sizes.

Quintessential Black Label

Macabre is being described as quintessential Black Label Trading Co., and the tobacco bill backs that up. The blend features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian Habano binder with Nicaraguan fillers, all rolled at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí. Each vitola is finished with a rabito — the small pigtail cap that has become a signature detail for the brand.

The combination of San Andrés and Ecuadorian Habano is well-suited to Black Label’s style: expect a blend built for depth and complexity rather than subtlety.

Sizes, Packaging, and Pricing

Macabre will be offered in three vitolas at launch:

  • Robusto — 5 x 50 | $13.50 per cigar | Box of 20 ($270) | 800 boxes available
  • Corona Gorda — 5½ x 46 | $13.50 per cigar | Box of 20 ($270) | 650 boxes available
  • Toro — 6 x 50 | $14.00 per cigar | Box of 20 ($280) | 800 boxes available

The Corona Gorda is the rarest of the three, with just 650 boxes produced. Combined, total production across all sizes is limited — a detail that will matter to retailers heading into the show.

First-Come, First-Served at PCA 2026

Black Label Trading Co. will take orders exclusively at the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show, running April 18–20 in New Orleans. Availability is first-come, first-served, which means retailers who want in on Macabre will need to move early during the convention.

For fans of the brand, that kind of scarcity and exclusivity is part of the appeal. Black Label has built its following on limited, carefully crafted releases, and Macabre fits squarely in that tradition.

Final Thoughts

Macabre is exactly the kind of PCA debut that gets attention — a focused blend, a limited run, and a distribution model that rewards decisiveness. Whether you’re a retailer heading to New Orleans or a collector tracking what comes out of the show, Black Label Trading Co. is giving enthusiasts a reason to pay attention. Keep an eye on participating retailers after the convention for availability.
