Arturo Fuente Begins Shipping Rare Pink Black Pink — A Darker Spin on a Fan Favorite
Arturo Fuente has begun shipping the Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s Black Pink, a darker and richer variation of the beloved Rare Pink line. The cigars started reaching retailers on March 13, 2026 — but access is limited for now, with distribution currently exclusive to Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) member stores.
A New Direction for the Rare Pink Line
The Rare Pink line is itself a spin-off of Fuente’s iconic Hemingway Series, long regarded as one of the great value-to-quality ratios in Dominican cigar making. The Black Pink takes that foundation and pushes it in a bolder direction. The cigar wears a Connecticut-grown Habano-seed wrapper over carefully selected Dominican fillers — a combination that leans into more complexity and depth than the standard Rare Pink expression.
The “Vintage 1960’s” designation in the name pays tribute to the roots of Fuente’s Dominican operations, nodding to the decade that shaped the brand’s foundation in the country.
Limited to TAA Accounts — For Now
At launch, the Rare Pink Black Pink is being offered exclusively through TAA member retailers — approximately 80 member companies, representing around 200 storefronts across the country. Broader retail distribution is expected to follow in mid-2026.
If you want first access, now is the time to connect with your nearest TAA retailer.
