Every year, Tampa does two things better than just about anywhere else on the planet: throw an epic pirate party and roll legendary cigars. And once again, J.C. Newman Cigar Co. is right at the center of both worlds with the release of the 2026 José Gaspar cigar—a bold, limited-edition smoke that feels like it was made to be enjoyed with cannon fire echoing down Bayshore Boulevard.
If you’re a cigar geek like me, brace yourself — because J.C. Newman just shipped something seriously special to shops nationwide. Say hello to The El Reloj Collection, a 10-cigar box set handcrafted inside the legendary El Reloj factory in Tampa, Florida — the last traditional cigar factory still rolling cigars in the U.S.
Starting next month, every cigar hand rolled at the legendary El Reloj factory in Tampa will proudly wear the official America250 seal in honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.
