Light Up the Legacy: J.C. Newman Drops the LeRoy Neiman 2025 Collector’s Edition
If you’re heading to the PCA Trade Show in New Orleans this weekend, make sure you swing by the J.C. Newman booth—because they’re dropping something truly special. Back for a third year, the LeRoy Neiman Collector’s Edition cigar is here for 2025, and it’s got all the flavor, flair, and fine art you’d expect from a collab between America’s oldest cigar family and the legendary painter who knew his way around a smoke.

? Art, Jazz, and Cigars—A Tribute to a True Original
This year’s edition is wrapped in a tribute to jazz—and where better to debut it than New Orleans, the birthplace of the genre? The featured artwork is Jazz Horns, a vibrant, high-energy piece by LeRoy Neiman that captures the wild rhythm and raw soul of a brass band in full swing. The painting graces both the cigar bands and a lithograph tucked inside each box, along with a surprise print of Neiman’s famously paint-splattered NYC studio floor.
Imagine opening your humidor and getting a visual and aromatic hit of creativity. That’s the vibe.
“Every time someone opens the cabinet, they’re getting not just a great cigar, but a piece of LeRoy’s legacy,” said Tara Zabor, Executive Director of the Neiman Foundation.
? The Blend: Where Flavor Meets Fire
Handcrafted at J.C. Newman’s iconic El Reloj factory in Tampa, the 2025 LeRoy Neiman cigar is a 6 1/4” x 52 Torpedo, designed to deliver a rich, complex experience that mirrors the improvisational nature of jazz itself.
Here’s the breakdown:
- Wrapper: Havana Rosado – expect a smooth draw with earthy, toasty undertones and a touch of natural sweetness.
- Binder: Florida Sun Grown – bringing that bold, homegrown spice with a dash of citrusy brightness.
- Filler: Aged tobaccos from across Latin America – layered, nuanced, and deeply satisfying.

What you get is a medium-to-full-bodied smoke with a warm, spicy core, harmonized by subtle notes of cedar, caramelized nuts, and a whisper of red pepper on the finish.
? Limited Edition with a Purpose
Only 15,000 of these cigars are being released—packed in 750 cabinets of 20, retailing at $22 a stick. Every cabinet includes that stunning Jazz Horns lithograph and is wrapped in packaging crafted by Vrijdag Premium Printing in Holland. It’s luxury through and through.

But here’s the kicker: 100% of the profits go to arts education in Tampa’s public schools, including those around the historic El Reloj factory. So every puff you take is helping fuel the next generation of young artists—how’s that for a feel-good draw?
? Final Notes

The 2025 LeRoy Neiman Collector’s Edition isn’t just a cigar—it’s a tribute, a conversation starter, and a piece of American culture rolled in Rosado. Whether you’re a jazz lover, art aficionado, or just a fan of a good, meaningful stick, this release deserves a spot in your humidor.
Keep an eye out for it shipping this fall—just in time for those cool evening smokes.
