? The Return of a Legend: Tatuaje Pork Tenderloin Is Back (But Not for Long)

Cigar Board, mark your calendars and prep your humidors—the Tatuaje Pork Tenderloin is making a comeback. After more than a decade of whispers, limited event runs, and a tasty 2023 twist, the original Broadleaf-wrapped beauty is finally returning for a limited release in 2025.

A Cult Classic Reborn

First dropped in 2010 as a store exclusive, the Pork Tenderloin quickly became one of Tatuaje’s most sought-after cigars. Fans went wild for its rustic packaging, bold flavor, and that classic Pete Johnson touch. Unless you were lucky enough to catch the 2016-2017 Bus Tour releases—or snag the “Lomo de Cerdo” last year with the Mexican San Andrés wrapper—you’ve probably been waiting a while for this one.

Well, the wait’s over.

This time around, we’re getting the OG experience—Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and all—rolled at My Father Cigars in Estelí, and packed in those familiar paper-wrapped bundles of 25. Nostalgia, anyone?

Flavor Profile (What to Expect)

While we haven’t cracked into the 2025 batch yet, if it holds true to its heritage, expect:

  • Bold earthiness with a dark sweetness from the Broadleaf
  • Notes of molasses, black pepper, and charred wood
  • A chewy, meaty smoke (yeah, it lives up to the name)
  • Rich Nicaraguan spice layered with cocoa and leather

This cigar doesn’t play light—it’s full-bodied, flavor-forward, and absolutely dinner-worthy.
