Tatuaje Mummy Redux – The Monster Returns!
Cigar fans, hold on to your humidors—Pete Johnson and Tatuaje are back with another Monster Redux, and this one is downright spooky good! The Tatuaje Mummy Redux marks the fifth entry in the coveted Redux Monsters series, and if you missed the original 2012 release, this is your chance to experience a piece of cigar history.
This beast of a stick comes in a 7 ½ x 47 vitola with a classy covered foot, making for one dramatic light-up. The wrapper is a rich Nicaraguan Criollo leaf hugging all-Nicaraguan binder and filler, handcrafted at the legendary My Father Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. You know what that means—bold flavor, impeccable construction, and that signature Tatuaje magic.

Each coffin-style box (yep, a coffin, because Monsters!) holds 13 cigars and rocks an MSRP of just $13 a stick. Production is limited to 5,000 boxes of 13 (65,000 cigars total), with 4,300 standard boxes and 700 numbered special editions—including 666 sequentially numbered boxes (how perfectly creepy is that?) and some marked XX for those extra-special occasions.
Expect the Mummy to deliver a rich Nicaraguan profile—think earth, spice, a touch of sweetness, and a deep, toasty core that’s perfect for those cool fall nights. If the original was any indication, this Redux is going to age like a dream, but let’s be real… most of us are lighting these up ASAP.
The Tatuaje Mummy Redux is allocated to select retailers and is expected to ship in early October. If you’re a Tatuaje Monster collector—or just a fan of top-tier Nicaraguan cigars—don’t sleep on this one. Once these coffins are gone, they’re gone for good.
