Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Unveils 18 New Releases for PCA 2026

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust (DTT) is set to debut an expansive lineup of 18 new cigars at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show in New Orleans. The releases span line extensions, brand extensions, and a fully revamped StillWell Star lineup, reinforcing the company’s position as one of the most active boutique manufacturers heading into this year’s trade show.

Background / Context

Since its founding in 2015, DTT has built a reputation for small-batch, detail-driven cigars under the direction of Steve Saka. Known for balancing creativity with traditional craftsmanship, the company has consistently introduced new formats and blends across its core portfolio.

The 2026 PCA lineup continues that trend—offering both incremental additions to established lines and more experimental, limited-production releases under the Muestra de Saka umbrella.

Blend Details

While many of the releases build on existing ligas, several stand out:

  • Red Meat Lovers “Spicy Beef Stick” introduces a spicier take on the Beef Stick blend
  • Muestra de Saka “Lengua de Suegra” is a culebra format based on a variation of Mi Querida
  • Sobremesa Tapa Negra utilizes a dual capa concept, combining a Nicaraguan Sungrown Cuban seed head with the Sobremesa Brûlée liga
  • StillWell Star has been completely reworked with new blends and expanded sizes

Production is split between Nicaraguan American Cigars, S.A. (NACSA) and Joya de Nicaragua (JDN) depending on the line.

Why It Matters

Dunbarton’s 2026 release slate highlights a clear strategy: balance core line growth with limited, enthusiast-driven projects.

  • The line extensions strengthen already proven brands like Red Meat Lovers and Muestra de Saka
  • The brand extensions—especially Tapa Negra—introduce new concepts without abandoning familiar profiles
  • The StillWell Star overhaul signals a renewed push into the aromatic and pipe-tobacco-inspired segment

For retailers, this is a high-volume PCA portfolio with layered appeal—ranging from everyday regular production to highly limited collector pieces.

At a broader level, it reinforces DTT’s role as one of the few boutique companies consistently delivering both innovation and scale within the premium segment.
