Arturo Fuente Locks in New Cameroon Supplier — Fuente Fans, Rejoice!

If you’ve been hearing whispers that Arturo Fuente might be running low on that legendary African Cameroon wrapper, take a deep breath and relax, fam — Carlito’s got us covered.

The king himself, Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr., just dropped a video straight from the heart of the Fuente factory courtyard in Santiago, Dominican Republic. And the message? Loud and clear: the Fuente Cameroon supply is alive and thriving!

After parting ways with longtime supplier M. Meerapfel Söhn, Fuente has inked a new deal with Universal Leaf Tobacco Co., one of the biggest names in global tobacco growing. The first massive, refrigerated 40-foot container of authentic African Cameroon wrapper leaf has officially landed in the Dominican Republic — and it’s just the beginning.

Carlito himself said it best:

“My friends, we have African Cameroon wrapper for years to come.”

That’s music to any Fuente fan’s ears. Because let’s be real — the Cameroon-wrapped Don Carlos and the Hemingway series are cornerstone smokes in the world of premium cigars. That delicate, toothy leaf adds that signature sweet-spice complexity we all chase.

Carlito made it personal, too. After returning from Big Smoke Las Vegas, he shared how many Fuente lovers expressed concern about the Cameroon rumors. He wanted to put that chatter to rest — permanently.

“I would never let my customers down,” he told Cigar Aficionado. “All I want people to know is they’re going to have their Fuente Don Carlos and Fuente Hemingways for many years.”

So, there you have it. The Fuente vault is full, the wrappers are flowing, and the magic continues. Grab a Don Carlos No. 2, light it up, and toast to Carlito for keeping the Fuente flame burning strong.

? Long live the Fuente family. Long live Cameroon.
